Asynchronous – Systems training: Getting to know the TAR

CLIENT: The Office of the Secretary of Defense, Military Community and Family Policy

The Challenge

The Office of the Secretary of Defense, Military Community and Family Policy, requires all internal employees and contractors to track projects within the government Tasking, Assignment and Reporting system. MC&FP needed a way to train people on the system and how to properly use it.

The Process

The Bowen Group facilitated meetings with the TAR program manager to define standards for TAR usage, to identify requirements based on employment roles and to determine the varied requirements for employees and contractors.

The Outcome

The Bowen Group developed five succinct and focused instructional videos designed to address specific components of the TAR and employee roles. Guided screencasts led participants through features and helped them understand how to fully take advantage of TAR capabilities.
