Debbie Perkins brings over 20 years of business management experience to The Bowen Group. She serves as the human resources manager and partners with employees, management and the executive team to ensure The Bowen Group is an employer of choice in the professional services industry. Debbie is passionate about creating a culture that centers on our employees and clients. She possesses particular expertise in large-scale recruiting, managing and maximizing employee performance, and the delivery of superior internal customer service to virtual employees. Since joining The Bowen Group in 2018, Debbie has worked on enhancing the new employee experience by streamlining processes and implementing new systems. Most recently, she led recruiting and hiring campaigns that resulted in a 388% net growth of our staff.

Before joining The Bowen Group, Debbie was a human resources consultant, providing leadership and prowess to small businesses and start-up companies. She served as HR director for one of the world’s leading concierge companies, as well as providing HR management in customer service, government contracting and retail industries.

Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Mary Washington and has Society of Human Resources Management-CP and Professional in Human Resources certifications. She is an active member of SHRM in Northern Virginia and in the national organization. Debbie resides in Virginia with her son, Leander. She loves animals and has three rescued kitties and Maggie Mae, a Yorkie/Havernese mix. In her free time, Debbie enjoys watching automobile racing, going to Nats games and restoring classic cars.
